ABOUT US

Maxbury Standard Poodles was established in 2015 by Jason, Tara and Xander Scriver, when we purchased our first Standard Poodle from long time breeder and mentor Carol Graham of Crystalton Standard Poodles and Pomeranians. When we first met Steele we knew we would never live without a Poodle again! Steele was the first Standard Poodle in CKC History to have been awarded the Grand Champion Excellent title. This is accomplished by obtaining the requirements in the conformation show ring and getting a working dog title as well.

We have been dedicated to showing our dogs and seeing them succeed in the show ring. Our first dog Steele went on to become a Multiple Best in Show winner which was a huge accomplishment for our family.

In 2019 we welcomed Queen to our breeding program who obtained her Canadian Championship in Western Canada. Queen produced our first litter in 2023 and we are thrilled with how well of a job she did.

We know as the years go on we can continue to produce quality dogs that reflect the CKC breed standard. 

​

We are located in Calgary Alberta and Thunder Bay Ontario.
